Teaching the Whole Child
In addition to our outstanding academic program, St. Pius V School offers a variety of co-curricular, extracurricular, and adjunct programs designed to meet today's students' needs in every area of growth and development.
During the school day, students receive weekly instruction in specialist subjects such as art, music, physical education, Spanish, and STREAM. Elements of our Catholic faith and values are integrated into the school day as well.
School-wide activities throughout the year boost fellowship and school pride. Some of our school events include our Spirit Rally, Trunk or Treat event, school concerts, Art Fair, Science Fair, Talent/Variety Show, Fun Day, NUT days and Spirit Days, and monthly school liturgies.
Our Student Council gives students an opportunity to develop leadership skills and build community among our student body.
To keep physically active while fostering school spirit and camaraderie, students in grades 5-8 can participate in our Athletics Program. Students with other special interests can join band lessons or one of several after-school clubs we offer.
Families who benefit from an extended school day can enroll their children in before-school or after-school care, where students will receive snacks and engage in enriching activities in a nurturing, supervised environment.
